High Point Enterprise Released a Two-Part Series on the Polio Epidemic!

The High Point Enterprise just released two new articles on the Greensboro Polio Hospital! The first, “Infectious Generosity: 1948 Polio Epidemic Brought out the Best in High Pointers,” details the amazing fundraising efforts that led to the construction of the much-needed polio hospital in only 90 days! The second article, “The Faces of Polio: High Pointers Describe Impact of Often-Crippling Disease,” features interviews from patients who lived through the 1948 polio epidemic and spent time in Greensboro’s Polio Hospital.

Thanks to Enterprise Staff Writer Jimmy Tomlin for his excellent coverage of these topics! Check out the articles below!
